By ,

A Cedar Knolls-based youth soccer coaching company has acquired a Massachusetts peer, it announced Thursday in a news release.

U.K. Elite Soccer Inc. is expanding with its purchase of PTUSA, which offers soccer camps and training programs in the Bay State. U.K. Elite already provides soccer camps, training and management in 22 states, as well as international tours and customized events through various units.

“We have personally known the owners of PTUSA for 12 years and are confident that our shared core values and principles make this a perfect fit for U.K. Elite Soccer,” U.K. Elite CEO Mick Smoothey said in the release. “We believe that their passion for soccer education will be a valuable component in establishing U.K. Elite Soccer in Massachusetts.”

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
