Looking to start a small business? You may want to start in these 10 towns, ranked by Movoto Real Estate as the safest places to live in New Jersey.

Among other things, you figure to save a bit on security.

Movoto ranked the 238 municipalities in the state that had at least 10,000 residents on these three factors:

* Violent crime
* Property crime
* The chance a resident will be a victim of a crime.

With that, the top 10 best locations:

10. Lincoln Park (Morris)
9. Tenafly (Bergen)
8. Ringwood (Passaic)
7. Florham Park (Morris)
6. Berkeley Heights (Union)
5. Hasbrouck Heights (Bergen)
4. Bernards Township (Somerset)
3. Sparta (Sussex)
2. Mahwah (Bergen)
1. Chatham (Morris)
