Mary Jane Cooper was named principal at Princeton accounting firm Withum, Smith & Brown PC.

Cooper previously was New Jersey's first statewide inspector general under three governors from 2005 to 2010. In that cabinet position, she directed investigations and other projects to improve efficiency in state government. Cooper earned a law degree from Rutgers University School of Law, in Camden, and is admitted to practice law in New Jersey.

New Jersey accounting firm Cohn Reznick LLP announced several promotions at its Eatontown and Roseland offices. In Eatontown, Jacqueline Fraller was promoted from certified public accountant to senior manager, Amber Papp from accountant to audit manager, Christopher DeMarco from accountant to audit senior, Steven Gonzalez from accountant to audit senior, Emily Kramer from accountant to audit senior, Nanette Rodriguez from accountant to audit senior, Jaryd Tomlinson from accountant to audit senior, and Douglas Lebensfeld from accountant to tax senior.

In Roseland, Rich Fuchs was promoted from certified public accountant to senior manager, Henrietta Fuchs from accountant to senior manager, Timothy Garland from accountant to senior manager, Steven Kopecki from accountant to manager, and Faisal Ali to information technology manager.


Parette Somjen Architects has promoted Melissa M. Insinga to associate. Insinga has been with the Rockaway firm for 12 years, helping build its corporate interior studio and lending expertise to projects serving the corporate, commercial, retail, health care and education sectors.


Robert Kohler was named project manager at the Newark office of VHB, a planning, transportation, land development and environmental services firm with five offices in New York and New Jersey.

In his new role, Kohler will help enhance the firm's real estate and institutional practices. Kohler is experienced in managing transportation planning and design projects in urban, suburban and rural areas. Kohler has worked on single- and mixed-use residential, commercial and educational projects. He also is experienced with planning and design of transit-oriented developments.

Health Care

Continuum Health Alliance, a Marlton-based medical practice management company, promoted Todd Mallon to chief financial officer. Mallon previously was Continuum's vice president of finance.

In addition, Christopher Brandt was promoted to vice president of applications from his former role as senior director of applications. William Moser was promoted to vice president of human resources from his previous role as senior director of human resources.

Continnum also hired Robert Trivett as vice president of revenue cycle management. He previously served as chief administrative officer for a privately held, multi-specialty group. Additionally, Linda Smith was named the company's director of communication and marketing. She previously owned a marketing and consulting firm in New Jersey.


Robert W. Cusick has joined law firm Parker McCay's practice areas of bankruptcy, creditors' rights and mortgage foreclosure. Cusick has experience in foreclosure, bankruptcy, real estate transactional work and title insurance litigation. He previously was vice president and general counsel for Fidelity National Title Insurance, in Cherry Hill, where he oversaw general title claims.

Cusick also is an adjunct professor at Drexel University. He earned his law degree from Widener University School of Law. Parker McCay is based in Mount Laurel with offices in Lawrenceville and Atlantic City.


Jersey Central Power & Light has named William Stevenson manager of emergency preparedness, a new position established to improve coordination with the New Jersey Regional Operations Intelligence Center and county offices of emergency management.

Stevenson previously served as senior safety representative for JCP&L. He has more than 45 years' experience as a firefighter, safety instructor and emergency responder.
