Fairfield accounting firm Smolin Lupin has named Laura DiTommaso as a member of the firm, and Shannon Moisier as a staff accountant. Both will work out of Smolin Lupin's Red Bank office.

DiTommaso has practiced accounting for nearly 40 years on both audit and tax issues. Her industry focus includes medical, engineering, nonprofit, education, restaurants and technology.


Peapack-Gladstone Bank announced the following promotions and additions:

  • Marie Arney was promoted to vice president of electronic banking. Arney has more than 20 years' experience in financial services, formerly holding positions at Carteret Savings Bank, Garden State Community Bank and Pinnacle Federal Credit Union. She joined Peapack-Gladstone in 2009.
  • Richard Barfuss was promoted to vice president and senior investment strategist for the company's wealth management division. Barfuss is responsible for managing fixed income investment portfolios, and providing equity and fixed income analytics and research. He previously served as vice president of financial services and as financial analyst at Weichert Commercial Brokerage.
  • Jan C. Barkley joined the bank as vice president and director of asset/liability management. Barkley has worked in the financial services industry for 20 years, mostly recently as vice president and treasurer of MetLife Bank, focusing on asset/liability management, product pricing, liquidity management, collateral management and capital management. Before that, he served as U.S. treasurer for Norma Securities International, and in treasury planning with Ryan Beck and Morgan Stanley.
  • Glen Corbitt joined the bank as senior portfolio manager for its wealth management division. Corbitt is part of the team managing the bank's trust and investments function, helping guide clients with wealth advisory services and solutions. Corbitt has 18 years of wealth management experience, having served as portfolio manager with U.S. Trust and its banking predecessors. Corbitt is a chartered financial analyst and certified financial planner.
  • Cecelia Lardieri is now vice president and assistant director of human resources. Lardieir brings 12 years' human resources experience to the bank, previously holding similar positions at Hunterdon Healthcare, TD Bank and Capital One.
  • Victoria Scalera was promoted to vice president and underwriter. Scalera has 30 years' experience in financial services, formerly as a comptroller in a corporate credit union. She has worked at Peapack-Gladstone for 14 years, and is a certified public accountant.
  • Hamilton S. Silva joined the company as vice president and relationship banker. She will focus on offering custom solutions for clients' banking and financial needs. Silva most recently served as a senior personal banker with Sun National Bank, in Branchburg. Previously, she was a licensed personal banker with JP Morgan Chase bank and a broker for Chase Investment and Insurance Services for central New Jersey.

Health Care

Gabriele DiLuozzo has joined Hackensack University Medical Center as director of the Thoracic Aneurysm Program in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery.

DiLuozzo joins the Hackensack center from Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, where he was associate director of Thoracic Aortic Surgery.

DiLuozzo also directs a National Institutes of Health-funded animal laboratory. DiLuozzo will transition both his clinical practice and research laboratory to HackensackUMC.


Norris McLaughlin & Marcus P.A. announced that immigration attorneys Robert Frank and Allan J. Pollack, of Frank & Pollack LLC, will be of counsel to the Bridgewater law firm.

Frank has more than 38 years' experience in immigration law. He is admitted to the bar of New Jersey, as well as U.S. District Court of New Jersey; U.S. Court of Appeals for the First, Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth circuits; and U.S. Supreme Court. Frank also serves as an adjunct professor at Montclair State University. He earned his law degree from the Rutgers School of Law in 1970.

Pollack has worked in immigration practice in New Jersey and New York for more than 18 years. He is currently chairman of the New Jersey Chapter of American Immigrant Lawyers Association. Pollack earned his law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1994.


VHB, a planning, transportation, land development and environmental services firm with offices in New Jersey and New York, has named Jeffrey Taub regional marketing manager. Taub will manage staff and operations for VHB's New York City, Newark, Hauppauge, White Plains, and Albany offices.

Taub joined the company in 2011 with the merger of VHB and Eng-Wong, Taub & Associates, where he was director of marketing and business development. He has 13 years' marketing and corporate communications experience.

Wealth Management

Anna Lui was named director of marketing at Modera Wealth Management, in Westwood. Before joining Modera, Lui served as the vice president of investor relations at Fischer Relations, at Fischer & Co. Lui earned an economics degree from The Johns Hopkins University.
