Call for Nominations: 2014 NJ Manufacturing Awards!


In conjunction with National Manufacturing Day, NJMEP and NJBIZ are proud to announce the inaugural New Jersey Manufacturing Awards!

The awards program will honor companies in the garden state for their outstanding accomplishments in helping our manufacturing community grow and prosper. An independent panel of judges will select the finalists in each of the categories. All finalists will be recognized and the winner in each category will be announced during the awards luncheon on October 3, 2014. Finalists will also be profiled in a supplement to NJBIZ which will be distributed at the event and inserted into NJBIZ.

Award Categories
Manufacturer of the Year:
- Small: less than 250 employees
- Midsize: between 250 and 500 employees
- Large: between 500 and 1,000 employees

Emerging Player
Bold New Strategy
Workforce Development
Next-Generation Leadership Award
(Nominees are employees of the manufacturing companies)
Growth, Innovation and Leadership Award (Nominees are employees of the manufacturing companies)
Supply Chain Leadership
Sustainability Award



Nomination Deadline: Friday,August 8, 2014

Eligibility Requirements
For all categories with the EXCEPTION of EMERGING PLAYER and BOLD NEW STRATEGY
For-profit, privately held manufacturer. Company must be in business at least five years, and must have a manufacturing facility in New Jersey.

For EMERGING PLAYER
For-profit, privately held manufacturer. Company must be in business five years or less and must have a manufacturing facility in New Jersey.

For BOLD NEW STRATEGY
For-profit, privately held manufacturer. Company must be in business 25-PLUS years and must have a manufacturing facility in New Jersey.
