Cherry Hill-based Adaptive Clinical Systems, a provider of cloud-based services that provides interoperability and data integration, has partnered with Medidata, an eClinical software service company that develops solutions for research collaboration in clinical trials.

Adaptive Clinical Systems helps pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, hospitals and academic research centers with integration of clinical study data from multiple systems and platforms.

In a statement, Adaptive said that the collaboration will further expand integration options between the Medidata Rave randomization and trial supply management system and other third-party eClinical systems. RTSM systems perform functions such as patient screening and randomization, medication dispensation, real-time metrics and drug reconciliation.

The partnership, according to Adaptive, will also help solve the problem of disconnected systems and error-prone manual processes that can put study data at risk.
