The independently owned Travel Inn & Suites in Flemington has announced the completion of a $1 million renovation.

All 37 rooms at hotel have been renovated as part of the project, in addition to exterior upgrades including a new security system, LED exterior lighting and paving of the parking lot.

The hotel also boasts a new lobby featuring electronic check-in and an expansion of the second floor to accommodate a new breakfast area and meeting room.

Mihir Patel, the hotel’s owner, said he wanted to make a hotel for the community.

“The hotel had become outdated, so we decided to make a significant investment that would really make a difference for our guests whether they are local or from outside the region,” he said in a release. “We want people who live and work locally to feel comfortable when they refer family and colleagues.”

Patel also announced a new partnership with Diamond Nation, a baseball and softball complex in Flemington, affording the company’s clients, customers and employees special arrangements at the hotel.

Travel Inn & Suites of Flemington also unveiled a new logo, color scheme and signage in conjunction with the completed renovations.
