Global design and architecture firm HOK has opened its 24th location in Summit.
The office at 350 Springfield Ave. will support 25 employees and focus on planning and design for corporate, health care, commercial mixed-use and science and technology projects.
The office will be led by Lisa Brinkman, principal and regional director of WorkPlace; Christopher Laul, senior principal for the Northeast region, will provide business development and marketing.
“Establishing an office in Summit is part of our strategic plan for moving closer to clients in the Northeast and being integrated into the communities we serve,” Carl Galioto, president and managing principal for HOK’s Northeast region, said in a prepared statement.
HOK has worked on such projects as LG corporate headquarters in Englewood Cliffs; BMW’s North America headquarters in Woodcliff Lake; Colgate Palmolive Technology Center in Piscataway; and MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, among others.
