Graduate business students at The College of New Jersey can now complete specialization certifications after just one year in the Master of Business Administration program, the school announced Monday.
Unlike traditional MBA programs, by incorporating a “T” style approach the Ewing-based institution’s program will afford graduate students the opportunity to earn certificates — and focus on specializations — before they complete core MBA studies.
“The ‘T’ structure allows students to immediately apply the specialized knowledge they are gaining and implement it in their workplace,” Program Director Pasquale Quintero Jr. said in a prepared statement.
The program’s hybrid-learning format features two-tracks: data analytics and finance.
The program was approved by the board of trustees in February and is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
