Special Properties Real Estate Services LLC, a regional affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate, on Thursday announced the appointment of Robert Gavura as New Jersey regional vice president for Union, Morris and Somerset counties.

Special Properties pointed to Gavura’s appointment as a part of the firm’s planned expansion into Northern New Jersey, announced in 2017.

Gavura brings over 15 years of experience in real estate management and office leadership with the Weichert Realtors brand to his new position where he most recently served as a regional vice president. In that role, he led eight brokerage offices and over 450 agents throughout Manhattan, and Hudson and Westchester counties in New York.

Prior to that, Gavura was an executive sales director with Weichert in Hoboken where he was recognized for his retention of employees and agents, the reduction of operational expenses, and the generation of consistently increased profits.

“While I enjoy working with buyers and sellers, I have a deep passion for real estate management and working to establish and grow the experience, skills, and careers of agents,” Gavura said in a release. “It’s is especially rewarding to coach and develop an agent, which, in turn, ensures that we are offering the highest quality customer service to clients, all while growing the scope, reputation, and success of the brokerage as a whole.”

Special Properties has offices in Saddle River, Mahwah, Franklin Lakes, Ridgewood, Ho-Ho-Kus and Hoboken.
