NJ Hall of Fame to take up residence at American Dream

The New Jersey Hall of Fame is planting roots after hitherto existing as a mobile museum.

On Wednesday, the organization announced it has signed a long-term lease at the American Dream retail and entertainment complex at the Meadowlands in East Rutherford. Financial terms were undisclosed.

“We look forward to sharing Jersey history and ambition as a part of every visitors' experience at American Dream,” Don Ghermezian, president of American Dream, said in a release.

A groundbreaking ceremony will be held for the new museum location will be held Sept. 26.

The NJHOF is a nonprofit organization that has been honoring and inducting the Garden State’s own for 10 years. So far, more than 140 individuals and groups have been recognized.

Too bad that they could not pick a location convenient to all New Jersey residents.
