NJEdge, the nonprofit research and education organization, has named seven appointees to its board of trustees, including the presidents of three New Jersey universities.

According to NJEdge, the educators’ appointments are part of efforts to increase the organization’s commitment to advancing technology in education.

Added to the board were Stockton University President Harvey Kesselman; Thomas Edison State University President Merodie Hancock; Rider University President Gregory Dell’Omo; Saint Peter’s University Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Frederick Bonato; Rider University Associate Vice President for Information Technology Carol Kondrach; Middlesex County College Executive Director and CIO Bradley Morton; and Monmouth University Chair and VALE Executive Committee Director of Library Services Kurt Wagner.

The board’s membership now stands at 22.

“This select group of education professionals has the experience we need to help us navigate a complex and dynamic web of technological, political and educational challenges,” NJEdge President and CEO Samuel Conn said in a release announcing the appointments.
