Outerwear retailer Lands’ End opened its first standalone store in New Jersey on Monday in Bridgewater at Chimney Rock Crossing, a shopping center which opened this spring.

The Dodgeville, Wis.-based retailer, which previously sold its merchandise in catalogues and Sears stores, started opening standalone stores in 2012. The New Jersey outlet brings the total to 15.

Digital kiosks at the new Lands’ End store allow customers to shop online while in the store, and associates equipped with point-of-sale devices enable them to check out anywhere in the store.

A grand opening celebration is slated for 10 a.m. Saturday. The first 100 customers will receive a Lands’ End tote bag with purchase of $75 worth of merchandise, and visitors throughout the day can visit the Lands' End Airstream outside the store to enter to win various Lands’ End swag.
