Presented by MetLife, the Dream Big Awards celebrate business achievements by awarding leaders in categories such as emerging business, green/sustainable, minority-owned, veteran-owned, woman-owned and young entrepreneur.
To qualify for the Dream Big Small Business of the Year Award a company must operate primarily within the U.S., have less than 250 employees or gross revenues under $20 million in 2016 and 2017 and provide community support.
“Small businesses are a vital sector of our economy,” said U.S. Chamber Vice President of Small Business Policy Tom Sullivan in a release. “Every day small business owners wake up, work hard and give their all. When small businesses thrive, our communities thrive and that’s good for everyone.”
Winners of the Dream Big Awards will be announced Oct. 3 in Washington, D.C., at the Dream Big Gala that’s part of the 2018 U.S. Chamber of Commerce Small Business Summit.
