Julia Fahl has been named vice president of legislative affairs for Tonio Burgos and Associates Inc. in New Jersey.
Earlier this summer, Fahl won the Lambertville Democratic Party primary for mayor by unseating the town’s 27-year incumbent, Dave Del Vecchio.
Fahl joins New Jersey Operations President Jim Kehoe in serving the company’s growing New Jersey clientele, with the support of staff in New York.
“Her knowledge and experience at the state level and her first-hand knowledge of politics at the local level will enhance the legislative and policy efforts we put forward on behalf of our New Jersey clients,” CEO Tonio Burgos said in a release.
Most recently a fundraising consultant with Anvil Strategies in Washington, D.C., Fahl has experience working on a number of high-visibility campaigns, including as in-state finance director for Gov. Phil Murphy’s gubernatorial campaign and as finance director for the Democrat National Committee LGBT Leadership Council.
Tonio Burgos has operated in the Garden State since 2002. Established in 1988, it boasts offices in New York City; Albany, N.Y.; Trenton and Washington, D.C.
