Taking sneak peek at the Asbury Ocean Club
New York-based real estate company iStar has released renderings for its upcoming 17-story Asbury Park development the Asbury Ocean Club, Surfside Resort and Residences.
Asbury Ocean Club will feature two penthouses along with one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences. In additional to various on-site amenities, by 2020 residents will have access to a members-only beach club as well.
Below the permanent living space, David Bowd of Salt Hotels, also a partner in and operator of The Asbury hotel, will operate a 54-room boutique hotel.
The ground floor of the project will feature an upscale retail center.
Anda Andrei, president of Anda Andrei Design, serves as creative lead and design director for iStar and has employed a team of collaborators in its design, including Handel Architects, Bonetti Kozerski Architecture and Madison Cox.
iStar has spent upward of $300 million on efforts in the beachside city, developing projects such as The Asbury hotel, Monroe condominiums and the recently reopened Asbury Lanes bowling alley and concert venue.
