Westminster Choir College to remain in Princeton

By ,

Beijing Kaiwen Education Technology Co. has entered into a binding agreement with Rider University to keep Westminster Choir College in Princeton.

This news comes less than two months after the Rider University Board of Trustees signed a $40 million purchase and sale agreement to transfer the choir college to Kaiwen Education.

Rider plans to continue to operate the college until June 30, 2019, when the nonprofit Westminster Choir College Acquisition Corp. will assume operational control. The two institutions will work together to recruit students for the 2019-20 academic year.

Larry Livingston has been appointed interim president of Westminster Choir College Acquisition Corp.
