Miller named Kean University Foundation CEO

William Miller has been named CEO of the Kean University Foundation.

Miller previously served as regional chief development officer for the American Red Cross. In that role, he was responsible for fund development activities to sustain and expand programs and services in New Jersey.

He has also served as chief development officer for Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York, and as a resident consultant for nonprofit clients including as the executive director of the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh’s $125 million capital and endowment campaign.

Throughout his career Miller has been involved with fundraising projects that have raised more than $1 billion, and has experience managing an international fundraising campaign where he solicited gifts in various currencies and managed volunteers on two continents.

He is a certified fund raising executive.
