NJCU Foundation elects Hernandez chair

Peter Hernandez, senior vice president of accounting at Wyndham Destinations, has been elected chairman of the foundation board of New Jersey City University Foundation.

He replaces Luke Visconti, CEO and founder of DiversityInc.

Paul Silverman, co-founder and principal of Silverman Building and chairman of the New Jersey Beer Co., was elected vice chairman.  

Edward O’Connor, managing director and head of workplace wealth and retirement plans at Morgan Stanley, was elected treasurer.  

And Judith Wodynski, a travel agent at Swain’s Travel in Nantucket, Massachusetts, was elected secretary. She is a former director of alumni affairs at Jersey City State College/New Jersey City University.

“New Jersey City University is fortunate to have these forward-thinking friends bring their leadership skills and commitment to the NJCU Foundation Board,” said Kwi Brennan, executive director of the NJCU Foundation. “As officers, their vision and determination will be critical to the board’s continued success in reaching its next level of philanthropic goals.”
