Louis Berger adds three to board as chairman retires

Morristown-based global professional services corporation Louis Berger named as board members Thomas Lewis, president of the company’s U.S. division; James Bach, president of its international division; and Nick Ivanoff, executive vice president of the company’s U.S. transportation segment.

The company also announced the retirement of Ernest Portfors, who joined the board in 2008 and has served as chairman since 2016.

“I wish to thank Ernest Portfors for his exceptional leadership and invaluable support over the past decade as the company mounted extensive modernization efforts,” CEO Jim Stamatis said.

No details about a new board chairman were immediately available.
