Archer welcomes partner in public finance, government affairs

By ,

Timothy Cunningham has joined Archer & Greiner PC as partner in the firm’s public finance and governmental affairs groups.

Cunningham joins Archer from his post at the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs as director of division of local government services and chairman of the local finance board. His government affairs experience spans more than 15 years.

“Tim’s extensive understanding of governmental affairs, particularly at the county, municipal and local authority levels, coupled with his background in finance and deep relationships will greatly contribute to our growing presence throughout the state of New Jersey and adds tremendous value to Archer,” said Archer & Greiner President Christopher Gibson in a statement. “Most importantly, his years of experience in public policy and community relations will enhance the service we can provide to our clients in the areas of bond financing, redevelopment, land use and any other area closely tied to local issues.”

At Archer, Cunningham will focus his practice on providing issues management and strategic advice to decision makers in the public finance and governmental affairs industries, according to Managing Director of Archer Public Affairs Bill Caruso.
