Fairfield-based Kearny Bank has hired Anthony Bilotta as chief banking officer, a new position.

Bilotta was hired from Peapack-Gladstone Bank, where he served as director of retail banking and marketing since 2013. In his new role, Bilotta will serve as a deposit strategist with emphasis on helping the bank expand its treasury and cash management service business, along with its electronic/digital banking and government banking programs. He’ll also focus on enhancing the bank’s customer relationship management system.

Kearney has 41 branches in New Jersey and approximately $6.5 billion in assets.

“Anthony joins us with excellent credentials,” says Kearny Bank CEO Craig Montanaro. “Given his lengthy record both of achievement and leadership, I’m confident he will enhance many facets of our operations.”
