BioNJ launches fellowship program for potential entrepreneurs

Life sciences advocacy group BioNJ has launched its Entrepreneurship Fellowship Program to mentor and train aspiring entrepreneurs in the biopharmaceutical and biotech fields.

Winners will spend time working at four of BioNJ’s New Jersey-based member companies, Amicus Therapeutics, Pfizer, Photocure and Rafael Pharma. The fellowship will being in July. The first winner is Irina Katz, who just graduated from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. She will work at each company for six months.

The Fellowship Program seeks to recruit potential entrepreneurs and provide them with first hand industry experience in the state, and encourages them to potentially start their own company in New Jersey.

Students wishing to apply for the program should send an email to BioNJ@BioNJ.org.
