Twin Rivers tops list of affordable towns

A SmartAsset study ranks the most affordable places to live in New Jersey, with Twin Rivers at the top.

The study’s affordability index accounts for property taxes, homeowners’ insurance fees and mortgage payments relative to income.

Other towns at the top of the most-affordable rankings included Crestwood Village, Gloucester City, Browns Mills, Ashland, Ramtown, Hamilton Square, Yardville, Berlin and Franklin Park.
