Riverview Medical offers robotic knee replacement

By ,

Hackensack Meridian Health’s Riverview Medical Center is using Mako System technology developed orthopedic technology company Stryker Corp. for knee replacement surgery.

The technology uses a robotic arm that allows surgeons to tailor the knee replacement surgery to the specific patient. It will also reduce the risk of complications by providing a tomography-based 3D rendering of a patient’s orthopedic anatomy before surgery.
