Inspira Health Network has opened its new, 6,000-square-foot radiation oncology center in Woodbury.
The new center features the Varian VitalBeam Linear Accelerator, which allows physicians to better determine the location of a tumor using 3-D mapping technology. It also features the SmartVue Natural Light Solution, providing a view of the outdoors from inside the treatment room.
“We know how important it is for people in our community who are actively seeking cancer treatment to have advanced care right here in their own backyard,” said Patrick Nolan, chief operating officer of Inspira Woodbury, in a release. “This new facility will provide them with state-of-the-art care that is close to home and in a unique and healing environment.”
