Giovatto was also recognized as Best of Television/Video for “Broccoli,” for the Cannabis Word Congress & Business Expo. They received seven additional honors including three-first and four-second place awards.
A total 289 awards were presented at the event by Interstate Outdoor’s Herb Barry and Beasley Media Group’s Terrie Carr to a mix of corporation, agency, designer and non-profit recipients.
The Gruskin Group and Oxford Communications both took home the most awards for the evening, racking up 18 honors, including Best of Newspaper for Gruskin.
Many honorees went home with multiple awards. Baldwin & Obenauf Inc. reeled in 14 awards including Best of Magazine and Best of Digital honors; Marketsmith Inc. received 14 awards including Best in Radio; and The S3 Agency drew 13 awards including Best of Out of Home. Smith Gifford/RWJ Barnabas Health and Kraus Marketing racked up 10 awards each.
Winners were chosen from 550 entries, evaluated by 19 judges from the advertising, marketing and public relations fields in March of this year at Berkeley College in White Plains, N.Y.
