By ,

Gov. Phil Murphy unveiled his pick to fill in the seat on the Port Authority Board of Commissioners vacated by Caren Turner, who resigned after Tenafly police released dashcam footage of her hurling profanities during a traffic stop.

Amy Rosen, a Montclair resident, boasts 20 years of experience in the transportation industry, including stints on the boards of NJ Transit and Amtrak. During her tenure at Amtrak, Rosen oversaw the finance, design and introduction of the ACELA high speed rail trains.

She also is a former deputy commissioner of the state Department of Transportation.
