Campbell Soup Co. has named Roberto Leopardi, currently a domestic marketing vice president at household cleaning supplies company SC Johnson, as president of the Campbell Meals & Beverages division, effective June 4.
At Campbell, Leopardi will head the division in charge of Campbell’s North American soup, sauces and shelf-stable beverages brands, along with Pacific Foods and Plum operations. He will report to Chief Operating Officer Luca Mignini.
The appointment follows the abrupt retirement of CEO Denise Morrison last week. Board member Keith McLoughlin was named interim chief executive.
