NJ Transit adds touch screen kiosks on Hudson-Bergen line

NJ Transit is piloting touch screen kiosks at stations along the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail line, allowing customers to access service information, maps and alerts to stay informed of travel options.

The kiosks are currently in place at Newark Penn Station, Hoboken Terminal, Harborside Station and Pavonia Station. They feature real-time service alerts, departure times, scheduled service changes and emergency messaging.

NJ Transit Executive Director Kevin Corbett said the displays are an added tool to “enable customers to quickly learn the current service status for their particular trip as well as their travel options for rail and light rail.”
