Three attorneys had joined Cohen, Seglias, Pallas, Greenhall & Furman PC’s Newark office.
Michael McKenna joined as partner in the Construction Group, where Anthony Tavormina came aboard as associate. Christopher Galusha joined as partner in the Labor & Employment and Internal Investigations Groups.
“We are excited to continue growing our New Jersey footprint,” said the Philadelphia-based firm’s managing partner, George Pallas, in a statement. “This is a region where we already have a significant client base, and we are happy to be able to expand the services we provide.”
McKenna comes to Cohen Seglias from his own Saddle River-based firm Lewis & McKenna, from which he brings more than 38 years of construction litigation experience. Recently, he helped a client secure more than $8.5 million in damages against the New Jersey Department of Transportation, the largest verdict ever against the group.
Tavormina also comes from Lewis & McKenna, where he was a senior associate. He represents contractors throughout construction disputes and litigation.
Galusha had been a partner at Morristown-based McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter LLP. His practice focuses on employment law, commercial litigation, municipal law and sports law.
