The newly-expanded North Brunswick Walmart officially opened Wednesday after completing a two-year expansion project and beefing up its employee roster to over 400 associates.
The 190,000-square-foot space is New Jersey’s newest 24-hour Supercenter and carries more than 40,000 grocery items, which customers can pick up themselves or order via a free online option that has proven popular at other Supercenter locations, where in-store personal shoppers load items directly into customers’ cars at no cost.
Features of the Supercenter include garden, money and photo centers, an ATM and a McDonald’s, among other things.
The North Brunswick Walmart, located at 979 Route 1 S., is one of 73 in New Jersey. The company employs 21,413 associates statewide.
