Jets, M&T pitch opportunity to regional small businesses

By ,

The New York Jets are accepting submissions to receive a $100,000 sponsorship with the team for the 2018 football season as part of its premier New York Jets Small Business Showcase, presented by M&T Bank.

Five applications will be selected as finalists and given the opportunity to present at Pitch Night at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in Florham Park in early July.

“This program will provide a local small business access to an NFL team and its unique resources,” said New York Jets President Neil Glat. “We are excited to share this opportunity with small companies in our community.”

For-profit companies with annual revenue of less than $10 million and primary offices within 75 miles of the exterior municipal boundary of New York City and the state of New York, excluding 75 miles from the exterior municipal boundary of Buffalo, are eligible for the competition.

Applications will be accepted until June 1 and will be judged upon their completion of the form, depth of community involvement, business and brand worthiness and “fit” for a partnership with the team and M&T.
