Friday marked the groundbreaking of Camden's 11 Cooper project, a $48 million mixed-use development that will bring 156 market-rate and affordable apartments, along with 5,000 square feet of street-level retail space, to the city waterfront.

The project is owned by CP Residential, which is a partnership between The Michaels Organization, NFI, and Conner Strong & Buckelew.

The three firms plan to move their respective headquarters to the Camden waterfront in an 18-story office tower under construction.
