The BuilderPartner real estate management company is using social media technology to offer investors in North Jersey an opportunity to invest in their own neighborhoods.

The Mahwah-based firm will accomplish this through an investor portal accessed on its website. The online platform will assist investors, builders and developers working together on local, short term construction projects, with prospective investors able to use the portal to evaluate investment opportunities.

The portal will handle the subscription process and all compliance processes and allows investors to purchase units, as well as download and e-sign documents. Investors can also watch live video of the project and offer suggestions.

“Real estate investors often complain about a lack of involvement in the projects they are supporting,” BuilderPartner President and Operations Manager Farley Ressler said. “BuilderPartner wants involved investors. We are offering accredited investors a lucrative opportunity to develop their own neighborhoods and to use our social media channels to offer their expertise throughout the project’s completion.”

The first project on BuilderPartner’s slate is the Empire Fund, which seeks to purchase up to five properties in northern New Jersey.
