Rutgers Cancer Institute researchers to present drug findings

By ,

Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey researchers are using a diabetes drug as a potential strategy in treating and preventing pancreatic cancer progression.

The work will be presented at the American Association for Cancer Research’s annual meeting next month in Chicago.

They are finding that targeting a certain signaling pathway with this agent may be a novel strategy for the prevention and treatment of pancreatic cancer that has spread to other parts of the body.
