NJ nurses create best-practices pilot program

The Organization of Nurse Leaders of New Jersey has launched the Nursing Workplace Environment and Staffing Council Pilot Program to address best practices to establish and maintain workplace environments for nurses in the state.

The program has been endorsed by the New Jersey Hospital Association’s Chief Nursing Officers Constituency Group and emphasizes communication, collaboration, effective decision making, appropriate staffing, meaningful recognition and authentic leadership among nurses and the hospitals in which they serve.

Education sessions for the new program will be held on March 22-23.
