Community FoodBank of New Jersey unveils leadership change.

About him

Following a nationwide search, the Community FoodBank of New Jersey has named Carlos Rodriguez as CEO and president of the organization, beginning April 9.

Rodriguez replaces outgoing CEO Debra Vizzi and will be the third CEO since the organization’s inception in 1975.

“There are nearly 1 million people across New Jersey who struggle with hunger,” Rodriguez said. “It’s a privilege to work with our neighbors in need and witness the generosity of our supporters, volunteers and partners in action.”

Rodriguez previously served as the executive director of Fulfill (formerly, the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties).

About the company

The Community FoodBank of New Jersey is the state’s largest anti-hunger and anti-poverty organization. Working together with volunteers, donors and our many partners, the organizations fills the emptiness caused by hunger with food, help and hope.
