Rider University pushes ahead with $40M sale of music schools

Rider University trustees have signed a non-binding term sheet with Beijing Kaiwen Education Technology Co. --  operator of K-12 academies in Beijing – for the sale of Rider’s Westminster Choir College, Westminster Conservatory of Music and Westminster Continuing Education.

Rider said the $40 million sale ensures the choir college and its related entities will remain operating in Princeton.
