Former Balducci’s executive Scott Zoeller was named vice president of Food Service for QuickChek.

The Roselle Park native was most recently vice president of deli, prepared foods, meat and seafood at Balducci’s and Kings Supermarkets. Previous to his 12 years at Kings, he worked for Giant Food Stores.

“Scott’s extensive background in driving sales growth, building successful teams and providing customers with an intimate shopping experience will be a great asset as we continue to grow our menu and continue to meet the demands of today’s fast casual shopper,” said Dean Durling, CEO of Whitehouse Station-based QuickCheck, in a statement.

Many of QuickChek’s 154 locations boast expansive displays of grab-and-go, made-fresh items, made-to-order sandwiches and salads, fresh baked goods and a daily rotation of never-frozen soups.
