Valley Health System is set to open a state of the art health and fitness center, LifeStyles, as part of its wellness and prevention program serving the Mahwah community.
The center was introduced in a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Bergen County Executive James Tedesco III, and members of the county’s Board of Freeholders and the Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce.
The new center will open Feb. 1 and will be a supervised health and fitness facility that will include a six-lane lap pool, state-of-the-art fitness equipment, a rock climbing wall, a children’s recreation area, sports performance training and an indoor track.
“Valley recognizes that wellness and prevention are keys to good health,” said Audrey Meyers, CEO of Valley Health System and The Valley Hospital. “The cornerstone of our Center is Valley Health LifeStyles, a world-class fitness center designed to help everyone achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
U.S. Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) said in a statement: “Valley Health System has long been a leader in providing high-quality care for northern New Jersey. By serving more than 440,000 people across Bergen County and surrounding communities, you have helped improve the lives of countless residents in the Fifth District. “
