Developer Onyx Equities plans a capital improvement program for its 285,000-square-foot retail center, Woodbridge Crossing.
The developer said the improvements program will aim to increase visibility and consumer experience at the retail center.
Initial phases of the renovation include a complete overhaul of the parking deck; installation of new, highly visible, lit pylon signs at the center’s Route 1, Green Street, and Quality Way entrances; creation of internal directional signage; full site lighting LED conversion; and extensive façade restorations.
Onyx Equities VP of retail leasing Matthew Flath said in a news release that “later phases will include parking optimization and restriping that will improve traffic flow and result in the addition of over 40 new parking spaces in the property’s central parking field.”
Onyx Equities’ exclusive leasing agent at Woodbridge Crossing, Sabre Real Estate Group, also announced over 65,000 square feet of new leasing activity at the retail center, located at 475 Green St., Woodbridge.
The transactions are listed below:
Altitude Trampoline Park leased 42,508 square feet.
Planet Fitness leased 20,800 square feet.
Miracle Ear leased 1,982 square feet.
“Woodbridge Crossing has experienced significant leasing activity over the past 12 months,” Flath said. “Our on-going capital improvements to increase brand visibility and improve consumer experience will perpetuate that momentum and lead to greater demand from retailers who would like to join anchor tenants Burlington Coat Factory and Big Lots.”
Onyx said over 42,000 square feet in lease renewals by Thomasville Furniture, Modell’s, Party City and Sprint have been inked in the last 12 months.
