RWJBarnabas Health CEO Barry Ostrowsky has been elected to the board of Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG), the state’s largest power provider.

“Barry’s vast experience in leading one of the largest health care systems in our region through this challenging, dynamic and highly regulated environment, combined with this widely acclaimed prominence as a role model of corporate citizenship, makes him an invaluable addition to our board of directors,” said Ralph Izzo, PSEG’s CEO, in a press release.

RWJBarnabas Health is New Jersey’s largest employer, according to Choose New Jersey. Ostrowsky had served as general counsel at Saint Barnabas Medical Center since 1991 before becoming president of Barnabas Health in 2010. He was named chairman and CEO when Barnabas Health merged with Robert Wood Johnson Health System in 2016.
