Commercial moving service firm Total Relocation Services has purchased a 20,095-square-foot industrial building in Irvington, brokerage NAI Hanson recently announced.

Barry Cohorsky of NAI Hanson represented the buyer in the transaction and Todd Smith, principal of Acclaim Group, represented the seller for 17 Camptown Road.

“The Essex County industrial market continues to provide an attractive destination for businesses seeking to relocate to a more affordable, flexible and accessible location,” Cohorksy said. “This sustained demand has made finding space in the market a challenge that requires the guidance of an experienced commercial real estate broker to navigate. This deal is the latest example of how our team successfully leverages our experience and knowledge to work with firms to find space to allow for a relocation to New Jersey.”

Total Relocation’s new location is only minutes from Interstate 78, the NJ Turnpike, Garden State Parkway and Routes 22 and 24. The company supports management, installation and moving services of Fortune 500 companies to local businesses.

“Constructed in 1982, 17 Camptown Road is a 20,095-square-foot, single-story warehouse boasting 22’ ceilings, two loading docks and one drive-in,” NAI Hanson said in a news release.

Financial terms for the transaction were not disclosed.
