Real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield recently announced it completed the sale of two M&T Banks located at 80 and 100 West Century Road in Paramus to a private firm and The Frisch School.

The buildings were acquired by M&T in 2015 with its acquisition of Hudson City Savings Bank.

David Bernhaut, Andrew Merin, Gary Gabriel, Brian Whitmer and Frank DiTommaso II of Cushman & Wakefield orchestrated the sale on behalf of M&T Bank, who the firm represents exclusively.

“Both buildings generated a significant amount of attention within the Bergen County community given their desirable Paramus location in addition to their proximity to lifestyle amenities and major retail corridors, as well as easy access to highways and nearby executive housing,” DiTommaso II said.

The deal also involved William Hartman and Lou D’Avanzo of C&W’s New York City office.

A private entity plans to relocate to 80 West Century Road, a 70,000-square-foot building, and occupy a portion of the space while marketing the available space for lease. M&T is set to operate at the property immediately off of the entrance lobby.

The Frisch School, whose main campus is located adjacent to 100 West Century Road, has not disclosed plans for the 25,000-square-foot property.

Financial terms for the transactions were not disclosed.
