Brokerage firm NAI James E. Hanson announced several leases this week.
In Emerson, the brokerage’s Randy Horning and Darren Lizzack announced they worked on behalf of landlord, Hudson Emerson Properties and tenant Faustini’s Institute of Martial Arts and Fitness in the leasing of 2,800 square feet of retail space.
“For most retail operators, when it comes time for relocation, a highly visible location is often on the top of their wish list,” Horning said. “200 Kinderkamack provided the tenant with an ideal highly-visible location in a modern building in the heart of Emerson’s Central Business District at a favorable price point. In working with both the landlord and tenant we were able to negotiate a deal that enabled Faustini’s to find a new home in Emerson while providing the landlord with an established and reputable tenant.”
Faustini was previously based in Oradell and is now part of the newly constructed 5,600-square-foot retail building at 200 Kindermack Road, Emerson.
In South Hackensack, NAI Hanson negotiated a 10,674-square-foot lease of industrial space for large-format printing firm KDF.
NAI Hanson’s Michael Walter and Fernando Garip represented the landlord, The Hampshire Companies in the transaction.
KDF sought to expand business in Bergen County and inked a lease at 61-65 Worth Ave., South Hackensack. The property, an 11,606-square-foot single story facility includes three drive-in doors, 22 car park units and 16-foot ceilings.
“Bergen County’s accessibility to major markets and existing stock of small-bay industrial assets has made it an in-demand location for a wide variety of users across different industries,” Walters said. “The 7,000 to 15,000-square-foot industrial asset class has seen heightened demand over the past several quarters due to the increased demand as e-commerce users continue to seek spaces of this type to fulfill their last mile distribution needs. Due to this, we were able to work on behalf of our client to secure a premium rental rate while ensuring that KDF could continue to expand their business and fill orders.”
The property is located near Routes 17 and 46, and Interstate 80.
NAI Hanson also arranged a 26,900-square-foot long-term lease at 235 Murray Hill Parkway in East Rutherford with toy manufacturer Goffa International on behalf of landlord ALJ Property LLC, as reported earlier this week by NJBIZ.
