NAI James E. Hanson, a commercial real estate firm, announced it has negotiated an industrial lease for Goffa International Corp., a toy manufacturer, in East Rutherford.
The lease, located at 235 Murray Hill Parkway, is approximately 26,900 square feet.
NAI Hanson’s Jeffrey DeMagistris and Thomas Vetter represented the landlord, ALJ Property LLC.
The property is a single-story industrial space with 2,229 square feet of newly-constructed office space, two interior loading docks and 30 parking spaces. It's located within close proximity to MetLife Stadium and offers quick accessibility to the New Jersey Turnpike and New York City via the George Washington Bridge and Lincoln Tunnel, as well as Routes 3, 17 and 120.
Goffa International is a market leader in producing plush toys for kids and pets. Goffa was searching for additional warehouse and distribution space nearby its current facility in East Rutherford so it could continue to easily fill orders. The new lease is located directly across the street from its current headquarters.
“East Rutherford’s ideal accessibility and stock of quality industrial productcontinues to be a large draw for new companies or, in this case, established companies looking to expand their operations,” said DeMagistris. “Sustained high demand and a constricted supply of industrial space in the Meadowlands has created an opportunity for owners of existing properties like ALJ Property. The current market and our experience with the Meadowlands market and industrial product enabled our team to negotiate a long-term lease with an established tenant on behalf of our client.”
