Summit-based Kent Place School, a college-preparatory day school for young women, announced it has appointed Genevieve Madigan as its new chief financial officer.
Madigan will be responsible for all phases of business and financial operations.
Prior to Kent Place, Madigan was vice president for professional development and research at the National Business Officers Association. She has also previously served as a faculty member at the Klingenstein Center, Teacher’s College, Columbia University, teaching Independent School Business Operations.
“Genevieve brings a wealth of important business experience to her role at Kent Place,” said Dr. Jennifer Galambos, Kent Place head of school. “As a practitioner and thought leader, we are delighted to have her on board.”
For 15 years, Madigan also worked as a business officer in a variety of school settings and spent a decade as the director of finance and operations at The Gow School.
