Cushman & Wakefield helps generic drug maker move to new HQ in Saddle Brook

By ,

Generic drug maker Rising Pharmaceuticals, a unit of ACETO Corp., has moved its headquarters from Allendale to Saddle Brook.

Its new 37,000-square-feet space is located at Park 80 West, a property at 250 Pehle Ave. Chicago-based real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield represented Rising Pharmaceuticals in the move.

The company was founded in the early 1990s and was acquired by ACETO Corp. in 2011, and in 2014, it acquired another generic drug maker, Pack Pharmaceuticals. Rising Pharmaceuticals offers generic drugs to treat cancer, hypertension and pain management.

“Rising Pharmaceuticals wanted to capitalize on its growth and lease expiration to leverage it as an opportunity to establish a modern, contemporary work environment for its employees,” said Ben Brenner, an associate director at C&W’s New Jersey office. “After a multimarket site search, Park 80 West became the clear favorite. The ownership, CBRE, recently completed an $11 million capital improvement program of the asset, which included substantial amenity upgrades.

“Rising Pharmaceuticals is a world-class organization, and we were honored to represent the firm in its renewed commitment to doing business in the state of New Jersey.”
