According to a Modern Acupuncture spokesperson, she is seeking several 1,000-square-feet to 1,500-square-feet spaces through retail broker Danielle Albright-Brunelli at real estate firm RJ Brunelli.

The openings of the new clinics is expected to result in the creation of 120 jobs, according to a press release from Modern Acupuncture. The company was launched in August, 2016 and has three locations in Arizona, Colorado and North Carolina, and aims to open 150 locations across the U.S.

“We know there has been success with similar membership models such as Massage Envy and European Wax Concepts in New Jersey, and we see similar success here as well,” said Lance O’Pry, Modern Acupuncture’s New Jersey regional director. “Chronic pain is an issue for many Americans, and acupuncture has been proven over thousands of years to effectively provide help people with that.”
